Domestic Violence

  • Visibility of issues such as Domestic violence act 2005, Zero FIR, RTE, 2013 amendment etc. shall be increased by making posters and pamphlets and sharing them with police stations, health centers and other NGOs and CBOs.
  • Police Mitras shall be identified and we shall approach the local police stations to appoint them. We approached three in the areas Sonal, Sarkhej and MahilaAdhikakshKachehri. In the beginning they did not cooperate with us but now we have heard from them that they are willing to work with us and appoint police mitras.
